Title: Investment Analyst, Private Funds
Company: Align Impact, LLC
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Deadline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until July 19, 2021
The Private Funds Investment Analyst will work within the Investment Research team to support investment sourcing, due diligence and reporting efforts, primarily for private market funds. We are looking for an entry-level professional with familiarity or direct experience with impact and investment analysis, especially in private markets. A key component of this role is conducting deep due diligence on a wide set of opportunities, so a hunger for learning about various impact issues and how to address them with investment capital is paramount.
As we grow, we are building a team of self-starters and independent specialists who will develop deep expertise in their domain areas and take responsibility for service delivery to a diverse range of impact-focused investors. We are looking for someone who is organized, communicative, intrinsically motivated, and passionate about applying their energy, time and brain power to address real world issues.
About The Company:
Launched in 2014, Align Impact is a female-led SEC registered investment advisor and certified B Corporation with $1.6 billion in assets under advisement. We specialize in creating and implementing impact investing strategies for family offices, foundations, and financial advisors to catalyze positive change across the world.
At Align, 100% of what we do is impact-focused. Align Impact was named one of the top 150 impactful companies in the Real Leaders Impact Awards alongside Tesla and Etsy. We are a unique, cohesive team intentionally assembled with diverse backgrounds (lived in 20+ countries, speak 11 languages and counting) and expertise across asset classes and impact sectors. We keep the pulse on the most innovative financing to solve global and local issues, and design investment portfolios for clients to address those issues and align their capital with their values, without sacrificing investment return.
We are built on the belief that the world should work for all of humanity’s 7.8 billion people and the planet – and we believe private capital plays an integral role in getting there.
You are a great fit for our team if you are a natural builder with a keen eye for processing and synthesizing lots of information, and you are able to juggle many parallel processes at the same time. You thrive in a highly collaborative environment and are passionate about the role of capital in solving the greatest issues of our time.
Sound like a good fit? We’d love to hear from you!
