Chatdesk, Gebeya, Kudi, MoneyFellows, Reliance Health, SendWave, Terrapay, TradeDepot, Wave Mobile Money, Yoco… The team is
headquartered in Dakar with presence in Nairobi, Dubai and Paris.

Mission & responsibilities

As we are hiring for the long – term leadership of the Partech Africa platform, our aim is to hire an exceptional and ambitious individual, committed for the long run. As an Investment Officer in the Partech Africa team, you will be in charge of the full investment process, from sourcing to closing, as well as coordinating, afterwards, the support and monitoring of the companies in our portfolio. You will also play a key role in leading and coordinating the cross – functional team and contributing to a successful fund strategy. In your daily job, you will:
●Network and meet many entrepreneurs
●Lead the deal making process including due diligence (Team, Business & Product Strategies, financial & market analyses, …), deal terms negotiations and closing process (audits coordination, legal paperwork, …)
●Advocate internally for the deals you are working on and prepare documents for internal validations (investment memo, …)
●Work closely with our founders (incl. sitting at the board) to support in hiring processes, brainstorm about strategy, help with fundraising, M&A and IPO processes
●Monitor portfolio performance and work on the fund strategy to optimize the fund performance Profile
●5 – 10 years of professional experience
●Strong long – term commitment to Africa
●Previous experience in VC, high growth startup, or large tech companies
●Operational profile with proven interest for entrepreneurship and strong experience in managing
and/or supporting early – stages companies
●Strong knowledge of local markets and tech ecosystems (ideally worked/lived in Africa)
