Ashley Lewis

Ashley has twenty years of experience, of which the last fifteen years has been dedicated to investing in and scaling high-growth, impact driven ventures across Sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia. She has worked for some of the leading impact funds including DPI, Accion Venture Lab, and LGT Venture Philanthropy. She specializes in early stage venture capital in Africa and has invested across several sectors including technology, financial inclusion, health access, logistics and supply chain, agriculture, and renewable energy. Ashley also brings a wealth of knowledge from her previous experiences with the institutional asset management arms of Goldman Sachs and Vanguard as well as consultancies with the World Bank, Durabilis Impact Investors, and within Deloitte’s Social Impact Strategy business. She holds an MBA from HEC Paris and holds social innovation fellowships with the Finance Innovation Lab of London and StartingBloc.

Aunnie Patton Power

Aunnie has fifteen years of finance experience, of which the past decade has been spent advising impact financiers and lecturing on Innovative Finance, Impact Investing and Technology for Impact. At the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School, she holds the title Associate Fellow as well as Entrepreneur in Residence at the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. She is adjunct faculty at the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Graduate School of Business, New York University’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics’ Marshall Institute for Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship. She is also a founding member of the Dazzle Angels, a female angel investing group. A reformed M&A investment banker, Aunnie began her impact investing career in 2010 with Unitus Capital in Bangalore and has since worked with start-ups, intermediaries, funds, family offices, foundations, corporates and governments across Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. Aunnie's work has been published throughout the world, including by the Oxford University Press, the Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR), the World Economic Forum, Impact Investing Policy Collaboration and as a Massive Open Online Course on Coursera and GetSmarter. Her first book Adventure Finance will be published in 2021 by Palgrave Macmillan.
